On Sunday the 15th of September, at the Drouin soccer grounds, the Trafalgar Victory FC Youth team made history by becoming the very first team at the club to win the final four series. The 2013 TVFC “5-A-Side” Tournament is on again on Sunday the 13th of October 2013. The Trafalgar Victory FC Senior Presentation will be held at The Black Tie, 90 Alfred St, Warragul on Friday the 20th September, 6:00pm arrival for a 6:30pm start. The evening will consist of formal presentations of club and team based awards, league winning medallions, a 3 course meal and plenty of dancing. It took until the final round of the South Gippsland League season for the Trafalgar Victory FC Women’s team to claim the title of “League Champions”. Not that anyone at the club minded, rather all associated with the ladies team are ecstatic with the result. Each year Trafalgar Victory FC recognises the contribution made and service provided by a senior and junior club member. Recipients of both award have traditionally made a significant contribution that has benefited the entire club across all teams and age groups. Nominations must be submitted online by no later than Thursday the ra fast 12th September. Online voting will commence on Friday the 13th September and close on Thursday the 19th September. The TVFC Under 11 team finished their season with an impressive and improved performance against Fortuna Black. Despite not winning the game the team demonstrated just how much the team has improved during the 2013 season. In the first half of the match the team kicked two goals. With only one round remaining in the 2013 South Gippsland’s Senior Women’s division, both Trafalgar Victory FC and Phillip Island SC stand alone on top of the ladder, both with 31 points apiece. In the second last match of the season the Trafalgar Victory FC Under 11s played at home against Morwell Falcons. The match commenced with the Trafalgar team having the vast majority of the play, yet failing to score in the opening minutes of the game .
