Youth & Womens Coaches smallTrafalgar Victory FC has commended its defence of the 2013 South Gippsland League youth title and premiership with an impressive preseason hit out at the Trafalgar Recreation Reserve on Sunday afternoon.  Under the direction of newly appointed Youth Coach Mitch Cannata, the twenty strong squad were put through their paces in the lead up to what is a most eagerly awaited season of soccer.

Cannata expressed genuine excitement at the opportunity to take the reins of the youth team and is looking forward to building upon a possession based game that has already produced excellent results in 2013.  He joins the TVFC senior coaching team, also comprising of senior men’s Coach Greg Wyatt, senior women’s Coach Warren Steen and assistant Coach Mark Heatherington.  Collectively the team has considerable experience and much to offer players at the club.

This season the Victory is looking to further expand its player numbers and to build upon recent success.  With Gippsland’s finest playing surface and new club rooms to be built in January, the club most certainly is an attractive option in western Gippsland.  Those interested in playing Small Sided Football, juniors, youth and seniors for men and women at Trafalgar Victory FC should log onto the club’s website tvfc.com.au for further details.
