Trafalgar Victory FC executive committee members Jenny Moss and Mark Judd will step aside from their positions of club secretary and president respectively at next week’s 2013 AGM.  Both volunteers have served the club in their roles for the past six years and have been part of a committee that has seen significant change and improvement.

Jenny Moss has invested countless hours to ensure that everyone associated with the club is well informed and valued.  She is often the first point of contact for members and the Gippsland Soccer League. Jenny has at all times put the club first and is often the first to be at the grounds and the last to leave.  On top of her multitude of secretarial responsibilities, Jenny has also held the role as canteen coordinator for the same duration of time.

Mark Judd has represented the club as a delegate to the Gippsland Soccer League.  He has chaired the club’s committee meetings and submitted numerous grants which have contributed towards the fine facilities we enjoy today.  He has also ran the club’s website www.tvfc.com.au  and overseen the running of the Small Sided Football program for numerous years. Mark has also invested considerable time in discussions and meetings with the Baw Baw Shire during his time as president.

Jenny has committed to help the club where she can in the future, whilst Mark hopes to remain a member of the TVFC Committee in 2013 as a general member.  Both have thoroughly enjoyed their time as members of the TVFC Executive Committee and have made a significant contribution to their club.

With their departure from the Executive Committee comes the opportunity for new volunteers and leaders to direct the club into the future.  Both Jenny and Mark strongly encourage others in the club to step forward and commit to our great club.  Neither had experience in managing a soccer club prior to their appointment and both are proof that anyone with a strong work ethic and dedication to a cause can make a difference.

Those considering joining the TVFC committee in any capacity are strongly encouraged to attend this year’s AGM to be held at Café Obsession on Wednesday the 13th of November, commencing at 7:30pm.
