Baw Baw Shire Recreation Officer, Michelle Dabkowski, has advised TVFC that contractors have this week started work upon the drain located between the Trafalgar football and soccer grounds, alongside the cricket nets.
The works include laser levelling and regrading of the drain, followed by the installation of fencing within the next week. The contractor will also complete works around the northern entrance to the soccer grounds to improve spectator and player accessibility.
The club is delighted with the news and the shire’s long term intention to replace the footy club’s septic system which when full currently overflows directly into the drain. The drain has been of concern for some time now and TVFC are delighted that BBSC have acted to rectify the situation.
