Round 13 saw us heading to Newborough to play in the beautiful sunshine, a warm welcome for players and parents alike. Traralgon City where short of players so Xavier and Grace volunteered to pull on a black and white strip and play for the other team making Mick’s life easier by not having to substitute players. During the first half Xavier and Grace where getting plenty of the ball making it difficult for the Trafalgar defenders. Lillian and Ivy where working hard to keep them from scoring. Kade, Buckley and John were doing great work in attack and after a couple of missed attempts by Kade, he finally found the back of the net. After that, Trafalgar could not be stopped. The goals were being shared around throughout the game. Buckley showed much improvement this week dribbling the ball from the half way line down to the goals to score his first goal of the season. It wasn’t long before he backed that up with another one. It was fantastic to see him grow in confidence this week. John, Lillian, Kade and Buckley all scored goals this week coming away with a 9 – 0 win according to the kids. I lost count after about the 5th goal! I wish to thank Xavier and Grace for playing for TCSC for the whole game, they did a fabulous job and got plenty of the ball which was great to see.
We were also fortunate enough to have Hot FX Photography take some action shots this weekend and captured some great shots of the kids.
