2022 Nominees

Alec Edmondson
This year Alec has taken on the role of senior coordinator. Alec is the captain of the Senior Mens team and has spent the entire season organising the mens squad ensuring that the teams are always prepared for game days. He has taken on the responsibility of writing grant applications this year and has been successful on several of them. He is always available to help out at the club at events. Alec’s dedication to this club this year has been outstanding. Thank you Alec.

Katrina Alisson
Katrina has once again held the role of club Secretary. Following several years of service to the club, Katrina handles a multitude of administrative tasks to keep things running behind-the-scenes.

Including processing registrations, managing mail, organising committee meetings, plus a host of other tasks that go unnoticed by most club members. Not to mention volunteering in the canteen! Thank you Katrina.

Lachlan Wyatt
Lachie is onto his sixth and final year as Club President – what an achievement. In that time he has overseen the development of the new building and a successful move back to the GSL. A tireless volunteer, Lachie spends hours a week on the phone or in meetings to keep club operations ticking, and is basically club groundsman spending time marking the fields.
All the while he is a reliable player, manager and leader within the Senior team and always makes it to training. Most importantly Lachie is a great person and enriches all club members with a generous and kind personality.

He is our first President to reach the maximum six-year term and deserves a rest from many years service to our club – but you can bet he won’t be far away. A big thank you to Lachie!

Raelene Brace
Raelene has held the role of Treasurer on our committee once again this year, and regularly volunteers in the canteen. Raelene has been volunteering at the club for several years and always does so with a minimum of fuss.
As Treasurer she keeps the lights turned on by paying the club’s bills, issues invoices, prepares financial reports and a whole host of other behind-the-scenes financial matters that go unnoticed by most club members. Not to mention being one of the number-one fans for the Senior team, regularly attending away matches to watch son Hamish and proving her support for the squad. Thank you Raelene!

Tanya Makins
Tanya has once again taken on the role of Miniroos Coordinator this year, and put so much time into organising coaches, training, game details etc. for our junior teams.
Tanya communicates regularly with parents and works hard to support and encourage the kids.
Thanks Tanya!
