Despite really cold temperatures and somewhat wet weather, the TVFC MiniRoos took to their home ground as part of the LVSL MiniRoos fixture. When most would rather be home in front of the family heater watching cartoons on TV, the dedicated Trafalgar kids were running around kicking goals with their mates.
Today’s hub event was the third hosted by Trafalgar Victory FC this season, and once again the club delivered a well run morning of soccer. There were plenty of volunteers to assist TVFC MiniRoos Coordinator, Tanya Makins. Tanya has done a cracking job this season having taken over the role from Shirley Guthrie, who also did a splendid job during her time in charge of the MiniRoos program.
The MiniRoos program is paramount to the success of the club long term. It is essential that the youngest at our club experience a thoroughly enjoyable season so they will continue playing at Trafalgar and enjoy the world game for many years to come. From spectating today’s games it does appear that the Trafalgar kids are enjoying both their club and sport and the support of the MiniRoos parents and grandparents was also great to see.
Trafalgar Victory is first and foremost a family friendly club. We strive to deliver a quality soccer experience for all regardless of age, gender or ethnicity. It is hoped that the current MiniRoos will move through the ranks to one day play as senior aged players at the club. Many of our current senior and reserve players were once juniors at the club and this is the goal for any club.
All at TVFC wish the MiniRoos the very best for the remainder of the 2018 LVSL season. We trust you love playing the best game going around at Gipplsand’s best club.
