Trafalgar Victory representatives have met with Latrobe Valley Authority Grant Coordinator, Carla Bruce at the Trafalgar Soccer Grounds on Monday the 21st May.  The aim of the meeting was to show Carla our very basic and most inadequate facilities and to discuss the potential of a grant from LVA for a new change room facility at the soccer grounds.

Carla outlined how the LVA Community Fund was supporting the Latrobe Valley community and provided example of other successful applicants in the local area.  Having being presented with our desperate need for a change room facility Carla encouraged the club to submit an expression of interest to the LVA for consideration.

TVFC will submit an expression of interest in the next few days.  Following this LVA will evaluate the submission and if it is supported, TVFC will then submit a detailed full application to the LVA.

This particular project does tick many of the LVA key criteria.  It is a community based project. It is aimed at increasing participation for men, women, boys and girls.  It does increase accessibility to all members of the community. Such a facility would also support members of the Latrobe Valley community across the region.

TVFC are very grateful for Carla’s availability, knowledge and support of our quest to secure funding for a change room facility.
