The weather was kind again for TVFC’s under eight Round 3 match against Traralgon City, we had a good turn out with a squad of 12 players. We got off to a good start with a couple of quick goals for Cohen and Tyler, with so many players available it was a challenge to rotate the players so everyone got a good run. TCSC, who were fielding a very enthusiastic all girl team, started to get into the game and managed to get onto the score sheet with a goal against play, Felicity was goalkeeping in the first half and did a great job on the few occasions TCSC attacked the TVFC goal. TVFC kept the scoreboard ticking over with more goals from Cohen and Onyx. Anton and Arlo were working well together in defense with Liam, Harvey and Rylee doing lots of running and dribbling in the middle.
TCSC started the second half brightly and managed to get a couple of goals in a row but it was short lived and TVFC responded with another four goals. Stella, Jack and Quinn were doing well and put in a great effort and were having lots of fun, the whole team did very well with lots of great passing, dribbling but most importantly lots of good team work. Final score was TCSC 3 TVFC 9. Felicity and Stella were awarded the Prizes this week for their great efforts.
