Trafalgar Victory FC will be well represented in the 2017 Latrobe Valley Soccer League final series. The following teams qualified to compete in the 2017 finals competition:
- TVFC Senior Men
- TVFC Senior Women
- TVFC Under 16 Boys
- TVFC Under 14 Girls
The ladies team has finished 3rd in their competition and are well positioned to have a crack at the main end of season prize. The Senior Women’s team has also qualified to play in the Browne-Huizer Cup final towards the end of September. The Senior Men’s team needed to defeat the 2017 League champions in Falcons in their final home and away match of the season to secure the 6th and final spot in the 2017 finals series. The boys will be full of confidence and aware that anything is possible on the day.
Whilst at the junior level of competition the Under 16 Boys will, depending upon their final match this weekend, either finish 3rd or 4th on the ladder. The Under 14 Girls team has finished 6th and claimed entry into the final series.
It is great for our growing club to be an active part of the league’s final series. It is hoped that all teams perform to the best of their ability and that several team progress deep into the September action. Go the Victory!
