Trafalgar Victory under 10s 2 hosted Churchill on Saturday. After a slow start the team hit their straps and started to play the soccer they are capable of, with accurate passing and the use of some of the skills they have been practicing at training like volleying. Ava, Matilda, Ash, Mckenzie and Beau were consistent in attack and used the ball well with some quality ball sharing.
Charlie continued his good form in the goals making a number of valuable saves; while Mitchell, Jye and Aaron played an effective team defence and repelled a lot of Churchill attacks.
The chatter amongst the players on the field could be heard from the sidelines and was always encouraging and positive.
