TVFC MiniRoo’s player Matthew Porter has won the Angelo Carpinteri Junior Club Person Award for season 2016. The award is named in honour of long serving club person and life member Mr Angelo Carpinteri. The award was introduced in 2012 by the then committee to recognise the contributions made by our junior aged club members.
Matthew was nominated for his many hours of service in the canteen. Throughout the season Matthew often spent entire Saturdays and Sundays helping out in the canteen. He assisted in serving customers, getting items from the storeroom, setting up at the start of the day and cleaning up at the end of the day.
Trafalgar Victory wish to thank Angelo Carpinteri for making the time to come to the junior presentation to present the award to Matthew in person. Angelo’s continued support of his club is most welcomed and of course very much appreciated.
Ayden Burke, also a finalist for this award category, was recognised for his services to the club and is pictured with Matthew and Angelo.
