A great effort from this weeks miniroos. With a cold start to the game our team quickly warmed up and made many attempts to pass the ball around to team members. Our defensive skills continue to improve as our miniroos keep trying to drive the ball down to our opponents end. The goalies also performed very well trying to stop the ball.
The u8 players abilities to move the ball down the pitch is a credit to the hard work and listening the kids put in at training. With the return of Blake to our team he chased every ball that was near him and gave a very impressive effort throughout the game. Therefore Blake received this weeks award for one team and Ash received the second award after kicking a fantastic goal. Special mention to Riley P who had a few close calls for goal kicks.
Also a special mention to Hunter protecting our goals well.
