Under 8s had a home game this week. Both u8 teams played Moe this week. Team 1 played another great game of being able to drive the ball down to our opponents end and backing each other up for any loose ball opportunities.
It’s was great to see our miniroo’s continuing their defense skills, striving to chase our opponents and working hard to keep the ball away from our goal. Round 6 award goes to Harry for his applauding effort of defending the goals and chasing the ball every time the opponents had the ball near our goal. Team 2 played well. They are building great skills and confidence in the game. Their passing and ability to get the ball down the pitch is also developing well. Well done Cameron who is learning to read the ball. He played the whole game with a smile and bounce that is great to see in kids playing sport.
