This week the Under 13 girls played Pegasus at home. A wet slippery field greeted the girls which made ball control a little harder. Trafalgar dominated possession from the kick off and a magnificent through ball from Amber set up Maddy for the first goal. One minute later Natalie put another perfect ball through for Maddy to again score. Livvie played a sensational first half to constantly beat her opponent with pace, power and skill and she set up many forward attacks. Half time score was 2:0
Second half started with us dominating again. After having her first effort disallowed for offside Chloe scored her first goal for the season after a cross from the wing. The Trafalgar girls seemed to think the game was won and let Pegasus back into the game. They scored twice in a short period of time to make the last 10 minutes quite tense. Amber showed great composure during this section of the game and took the time to trap the ball, look up and find an open team mate running wide on the wing. To take the game away from Pegasus. Final score was a 3:2 win for the Trafalgar girls.
We wish Haylea and Chloe all the best for next weekends country championships at Bendigo and also wish the Gray family a fantastic time on their holiday over the next weeks.
