The Trafalgar Victory FC Under 13 Girls team is ready to go for season 2015. Following tonight’s training the team were presented with their new strips and all is in readiness for an exciting season ahead. The team and their families were formally welcomed to the club by President Dylan Wyatt and Treasurer Petamarie Mathews.
The team, under the guidance of their enthusiastic coach Shirley Guthrie, have been training for the past five weeks and have been showing considerable improvement with each passing session. Many of the girls are new to the game and most are new to the club. However, all are extremely enthusiastic and raring to go.
Coach Guthrie told TVFC “I am so proud of the girls, they have focused hard on training and are showing the benefits of their hard work. The main thing is the girls are having fun and they are loving the game. ”
The club is delighted to have a “girls only” junior team and it has fully placed its support behind the Gippsland Soccer leagues goal of generating more junior girls teams. All at the club wish the girls a great season, packed with much fun and excitement.
