Trafalgar Victory FC is running a summer training session for junior age players, aged 5-14, commencing next Tuesday 12th Jan from 4pm to 5pm. The program will be ongoing until the season commences, provided we have the numbers to sustain it.  The sessions will involve some fun activities, skills training and of course games.  Past and new players are encouraged to come and have a kick.

The training sessions will follow Covid protocols. Accordingly,  parents are required to sign their child in on the registration sheet provided on the night.  Hand sanitiser will be available and we ask that each child sanitise their hands before and after training.  All equipment will be cleaned thoroughly before and after use.  If you have any concerns please speak to the event coordinators at the event.

Parents wishing to help out with the sessions, or who may be interested in taking up a role as a coach or team manager this year, are encouraged to come along to the sessions.  Even if you have never coached before but want to give it a try the club will support new coaches by enrolling them in Football Victoria training courses which are really beneficial plus our current coaches are always on hand to help.

More details will be provided regarding when the upcoming season will commence at a later date. However, TVFC can advise that Junior (U12 & U14) and Miniroos games will now be held on Saturdays under the Gippsland Soccer League which the club is now affiliated with.  The club appreciates that this was a concern for parents last year due to a clash with other sports on Sundays, and felt it worth mentioning early in the year.

Coaches, Peter Court and Tanya Makins look forward to seeing as many kids as possible next Tuesday night for some fun and exercise. Parents are encouraged to contact Tanya on 0411 129 556 to express interest in coming to the training sessions.  This way the club will be able to plan appropriately for participants, ensuring a positive experience for all.
