Round 9 for Trafalgar Women’s Team was another good one. We played on Friday night under lights at Olympians and it was a similar story to the last time we played them in the Cup.
We applied relentless pressure for the whole game which gave the opposition little chance of going forward although ‘keeper Caitlyn was quick to come out and smother heroically when there was one occasion that it looked like we were going to have our clean sheet spoiled.
The one-two passing was slick as were the crosses and knock-ins in what were very greasy conditions after some light rain. This was impressive soccer that were are starting to produce on a regular basis.
