Dear player/parent/member,

Congratulations and thank-you for your decision to join the Trafalgar Victory FC family this coming season and (hopefully) onwards. We are delighted to be able to provide an avenue for players of all ages and abilities to share in an enjoyable, social, beneficial and competitive football experience.

Our club aims to continue to build our quality across all of our teams and develop a strong bond between our Junior and Senior groups in both men’s and women’s divisions.

In our recent history TVFC has endured a sustained period of success having already accomplished many feats. Since 2010 TVFC have finalled in the “Victorian Outstanding Club” award, moved to a state of the art $1M facility under lights, established player shelters, perimeter fencing and more recently completed the construction of a new pavilion with club rooms, canteen facilities, referees rooms, first aid room, accessible toilet and storage.

Evidently the future of our club is very bright indeed. This year our focus will shift to the construction of an established carpark within our facility, sourcing funds for an upgrade of shower and change facilities and strengthening our club culture through social interaction.

On the field we have had some strong results in the past. Our senior group has won several titles in both the old GSL Central and South Divisions. We are proud to be able to field competitive teams in the Women’s, Reserve’s and Seniors. These 3 teams have begun to build themselves into formidable opponents for all teams in their divisions. We also aim to be able to enter a 2nd division team in 2018.

Our Junior contingency has been strong again lead by finals appearances from our U14 boys team and our Under 13 girls. We also in recent years have developed a strong relationship with Melbourne City. Our relationship has allowed many of our Mini’s and Juniors too take the field during Melbourne City games and were fortunate enough to be the ‘goals for grassroots’ team chosen in round 22 of the 2016 season.

We have an extremely approachable and helpful committee who you will see around the club at training and games should you require any assistance. For any further information we are contactable via phone, email, our website www.tvfc.com.au and you are able to look us up on Facebook.

Above all other things our club has a strong passion for community and family and we certainly anticipate that this will only strengthen as our club continues to grow. Growth however is extremely difficult without the assistance of you, our TVFC family. We strongly encourage you to volunteer and assist us throughout the year in whatever capacity you can. We will always look to support our volunteers by providing access to assistant referee courses, coaching courses and providing advice whenever it is sought after.

I hope you will enjoy your year with us this year.

Go Victory!

Yours sincerely,
Lachlan Wyatt
