After playing some tough opposition the last few weeks, the TVFC Under 12s made a big impact on the scorecard this week, with a resounding 12 to nil victory over Monash. The whole team supported each other extremely well all game. Everyone made a great contribution for the entire match, with a total of seven seperate Trafalgar players able to put the ball into the back of the net today. It was smiles and high fives all around!
Special mention goes out to Lara O’Donnell who played her first ever game of soccer today. She did an awesome job in defence all game and played with impressive confidence, making some great tackles. We look forward to her playing many more games for TVFC this season and into the future.
Goalkeepers Yelan and Jai also deserve mention for maintaining concentration and enthusiasm all game, despite the cold, drizzly conditions. Well done boys!
It is pleasing to see the way the team is working together so well and continually improving each week. All the hard work done by Shirley and the kids at training each week is clearly starting to pay off. Keep up the great effort and awesome attitude kids!
