Trafalgar Victory FC has, like many other Latrobe Valley soccer clubs, got behind the “Barefoot to Boots” drive organised by Lavalla Catholic College student and Traralgon Olympians player,  Guguei Malual.

The “Barefoot to Boots” program was first set up in 2014.  Barefoot to Boots (BTB) is an Australian-based private sector NGO that supports refugees living in camps and their neighbouring host communities. For more information on the Barefoot to Boots initiative, please click on the link below:

As part of his VCAL (Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning), Guguei organised a Latrobe Valley targeted initiative to collect boots, strips, balls and donations for the national organisation.  To say this has been a huge success would be a massive understatement.  Guguei has been inundated with donations from the LVSL clubs.

Trafalgar Victory FC were proud to make a contribution as well.  The club donated 50 players strips, 20 boots and a cheque for $100 to this very worthwhile cause. The donations are being collected at he end of this month. So, if you have any old boots or soccer balls that are still in decent condition, please don’t hesitate to bring them to the club or contact myself (Mark Judd) as a club contact, my details are available on this website.
