The entire Trafalgar Victory FC family sends its sincere condolences to the family of the late Mr Bill Sampson, aged 62 years.

Bill was a much loved member of the TVFC community.  His enthusiasm, energy and genuine love of the club was evident for all to see and contributed immensely to the warmth of our club.   Bill was an extremely active and enthusiastic club person, who loved nothing better than watching and supporting his kids as they played on a Saturday.  During his time at the club, Bill helped out in many different ways and via numerous roles. He was an excellent and very efficient team manager, he organised numerous grants for the club (many of which where through his work at Telstra), he was a dedicated volunteer, he was a committee member and held the position of  club Vice President.

Bill would often say how much he loved the sport, making statements like “How good is this game?”.  He encouraged all players at the club, whether they played for the state or could barely kick a ball. Working along side the likes of Stephen Klemke and Warren Steen, Bill ensured that the TVFC junior teams were not only successful, but an excellent social opportunity for the youth of Trafalgar to enjoy.

Bill has left a great impression upon many TVFC players, volunteers and families.  He will be greatly missed.  All at Trafalgar Victory FC will keep Jenny, James, Jack, Tom and Laura in their thoughts and prayers.

R.I.P Bill
