Baw Baw Shire has recently released its 2019/20 Annual Budget.  In which it stated that “A total of twenty three (23) submitters spoke in support of their respective submissions at the Special Council Meeting on Wednesday 5 June 2019″. Trafalgar Victory FC have presented a request for temporary change room/shower facilities over several years now. Club President Lachlan Wyatt once again explained the urgent need for such facilities at the special council meeting.

In response to Lachlan’s presentation Baw Baw SC has “allocate a provisional recurring amount of $60,000 for portable female friendly facilities at Trafalgar Recreation Reserve”. This commitment from the shire ensures temporary female friendly change rooms as the soccer grounds until such a time that a permanent change room/shower facility has been constructed.

TVFC has already begun and will continue to work alongside the Baw Baw Shire Councils officers to ensure that the temporary facilities meet TVFC’s requirements and are sufficient to support all our members and guests. We will continue to work with the council to ensure these new amenities are in place in time for the start of pre season training in 2020.

Trafalgar Victory FC is delighted by the support shown by Baw Baw Shire Council.  All players as the club, and many from opposition clubs, will greatly appreciate a place to change as well as the opportunity to take a hot shower at the conclusion of training and/or game day.  In other news BBSC has also recently released its Recreation Master Plan Reviews, part of which has identified the multi-use pavilion at the Trafalgar Recreation Precinct as a high priority.  More details to follow regarding the progress of this permanent multi-use pavilion.
