Trafalgar Victory F held its 2019 Season Kick Off on Saturday the 16th of February. Strong numbers attended the MiniRoos and junior aged clinics and event coordinator Tanya Makins was pleased with the turn out.
The day provided local families with the opportunity to come along play on the superb Trafalgar grounds, meet with members of the club, receive information about playing/training and most importantly enjoy some soccer drills and matches.
If the enthusiasm of the kids is anything to go by, Trafalgar Victory FC are in for a massive MiniRoos and junior season.
The highlight of the program was the kids versus parents’ match, which once again resulted in an all in penalty shootout. However, this year’s result didn’t follow the traditional script, with the parents coming out on top!
The morning concluded with a free BBQ, which was greatly appreciated by all in attendance. The club would like to thank the many families who came along to check out the club today. We encourage all to consider registering with TVFC for the season ahead. We have the best grounds in the Gippsland, qualified outstanding coaches and a genuine pathway for boys and girls.
If you missed the Season Kick Off, don’t worry. New players are encouraged to contact the club or simply to come along to a training session, which commenced just last week. Returning and new players are most welcome to join the club in season 2019.
