Trafalgar Victory FC wishes to thank its members and the wider Western Gippsland community for their support of the 2018 Christmas Tree Fundraiser. Week one sale numbers were healthy and orders are still being taken for Sunday the 9th and 16th of December.
Several customers have provided feedback to the club that their trees were smaller this year than previous year. Trafalgar Victory FC would like to explain this occurrence. In November this year, our traditional supplier contacted the club and advised they had no stock for the upcoming season. Accordingly, the club has had to source its trees from alternative suppliers.
As a club we were also disappointed by the size of some of the trees provided last week. We are currently in negotiations with suppliers to ensure the remainder of our orders will be the standard 6 foot tree. Trafalgar Victory FC offers its apology for the size of some of the trees delivered last weekend.
The club is extremely grateful of the ongoing support of its loyal customers. We ask that those customers who received a smaller tree this year can appreciate the circumstances behind this occurrence.
